Amsterdam

The weather was crisp and sunny, the people were lovely, and the bikes and canals were ever-flowing.  Our very good friends who live in Germany, Natalie and Scott, spent their fall break with us and we also got to catch up with a few old friends from previous travels.  Our favorite part was when we were generously welcomed into one of their parents' homes (in the red light district no less!) for a night.  We shared a delicious, traditional Dutch dinner and swapped life stories.  The most memorable times in our travels are when we are able to connect, and reconnect, with geniunely wonderful people.
