Mainland Greece

Greece is grand.  I don’t just mean in its wonderfulness - which, it is just spectacular… but it is also just HUGE.  It took us two days to drive through the mainland.  We camped each night and visited beautiful sights each day.  Meteora is home to ancient, but still active monasteries in the mountain cliff tops.  And in Delphi we visited even more ancient ruins.  We felt like we were at the center of the world, and according to Greek Mythology, we were.
